Not every disease is visable...

Sometimes I ignore it, sometimes it bucks me, but I guess I never get used to it. Jokes at work, or sentences what bucks me when my day of is the next day. Aswell today, I worked a 'extra' half day, it was fun and did quit alot. Though the last few hours I could tell I had enough, my energy was slowly fading away. At 12:30 we all washed our hands for lunch, the people who had the rest of the day off left, just like me. Perhaps it's all 'man talk' or 'though boy jokes,' but I don't like it. Sentences like, 'Your leaving already, wow, I wish I could switch with you, you have such a good life.' or, 'Hey, see you tomorrow at 6:00 am,' (while your heading out the door to wish them a nice weekend), Not all of them are like this, but just some. Some a bit more then others. 'Take it as a joke, (cause it is) or just simply ignore it.' though guys, tough work, oh well, you get me, lol.

I was thinking one day to comment back to one of them, by saying, 'Hey, sure you can switch with me, I bet you couldn't hold it out for a day.' But, I think it's best to ignore it, 'when' they are like that. Ofcource they aren't always like that, they can be nice and funny with you aswell, and ofcource I should just laugh about it, with them. I think everyone at work gets sometimes their portion, I saw it and heared it, and I laughed too. It's just like that, that's our team. Sounds maybe silly, I know. But we always work together as a team in the end, no matter what. Gossip aswell, I think there's always gossip on the work floor, and not only there. I'm part our team, that's for sure, I noticed already soon that I'm 100% accepted, the workers like me and everyone chats or make jokes with me. 

End of rant! 

Some of our workers will work tomorrow aswell, there's still much to do. Though I almost sure we will get it all done before our Summer holiday. I saw it, and I'm positive about it. They didn't ask me to worl 'another' half day tomorrow, ofcource not. If they would have asked me I would have say no either way, I need my rest. If I was a healty person with no disease what so ever, I probably would say yes, hmm, yeah. I really like the work I do, it's a nice atmosphere, well most of the time, lol. (Hence the 'though boy' jokes towards me) Plans for the weekend? Well, I wanted to go out but, I still have plenty of time to go out and buy the things I need. My idea is to visit my parents grave a few days before I leave for my trip, next week Friday will be good. Buying the needed sandals tomorrow.

Busy, busy, busy, I am planning my rests, lol. It's all alright though, I will get things done, with work and my preparing for my trip. It's busy, but it's fun aswell. Today after work, I couldn't really decide what to do, lol. To the free dinner or straight to home, I was exhausted and tired after work and needed rest. Though I went to the free dinner, and I'm glad I went. It was fun there and comfy, a few laughs, a few talks, and good food. I figured if I would have decide to go home, I should had prepair dinner and that would have been busy aswell. Plus I needed to go into town aswell either way after work, I wanted to re-tray a swim short, the swim short I bought yesterday. It was just a tiny bit to big, it fitted, but, hmm. After the free dinner I re-trayedhort for one size smaller.

Tomorrow I will be working too, today at work was good. The mistake I made last Tuesday wasn't a big one, thankfully, lol. It kept me a few hours awake last night, I dislike making mistakes. This morning no one mentioned my mistake, only our foreman, but he was nice about it. Lol, he made a mistake himself too, that relieved me a bit, lol. It's all good. Tomorrow after work I will do most of my groceries for the upcoming week. The rest of the groceries I will do the next day. On that next day I will be heading out to Nijverdal. Just a short afternoon, getting things done, and visit my Mom and Dad's grave, I'm sure the grave needs a few new flowers, I will buy them on forehand.

I didn't forget to write a post yesterday, I felt tired and sleepy, and just before going to bed I realized I still had to write a post. Oh well, tomorrow a double post I thought. So, here it is two posts, let's start of with...

Tuesday! 

It hasn't been that chaotic and hectic at work these last two days at work, though I felt tired and sleepy afterwards. It's still busy at work, the question now is, 'Are we're gonna manage it all before our Summer holiday starts," next week on Thursday 4:00 pm it's officially our Summer holiday. I will give my 105% as usual, perhaps a bit more. Upcoming Friday another extra half day, busy days ahead! 

Wednesday! 

After a nice and long sleep I woke up around seven, nice time for a sleep in. I'm really not a long sleeper, I easily wake up during the night. It really would be a miracle if I would wake up around 8:30 or 9:00 in the morning. I sure could use some more hours of sleep, but that ain't happening. Anyway, this morning I went to my last appointment for my breathing therapy, it was a short appointment. Just the regular exercises and the usual talks, it's nice though. My therapist is a nice lady and she knows her job well, I made progress she told me, although I don't feel that. Yes, I learned alot and most important, I know what I have, I know why my throat sometimes hurt, and where (let's say) 50 % of my sometimes tiredness comes from. It's all good.

Knowing what I have gives a rest, it's surely not life's threatening, it's simple and just annoying, and that's all. I'm really okay with it, it doesn't annoy or bug me for a long time anymore, and that's a good sign. Further this day I tried to buy a few gifts and a few items I still need for my trip, some I bought with succes and with some I didn't  succeed. I shouldn't have waited with buying that nice swim short I saw in a store, it was gone when I want to buy it today. No success either with buying something for Jan's dogs, lol. I just needed something small, though nice and cheap, I went to look in the nearest garden centre. Yeah, they sell such stuff there aswell. 

I saw dog chewing (bone) sticks, dog treats, play toys, and even a few dog outfits, lol! But no success with buying some of the stuff, I just didn't know 'what' to buy, lol. Perhaps I saw to much, I nearly bought the dog treats or the chewing sticks. But I thought there maybe will be difficulties at the airport, lol. "No, they're aren't drugs, there just sticks and treats for dogs, honest!" I looked for wooden shoes aswell, I even saw the right size. (damn!) Though no buying them, this garden centre is quit at the price. I knew a different store where they sell wooden shoes aswell, and they even have dog stuff too. After the 'free dinner' I went to that store and.... 

Did I buy a pair? Well, who knows? Lol! it was quit a struggle with the size and all, size 10 was the size I needed. Size 10 is size 42 in Holland, but they were enormous and huge. What to do, what to do... Now I know that wooden shoes are way bigger then normal shoes, but the size 10 I had in my hand, wow! I decided... no, I'm not telling, lol. Let's see how long I can keep my mouth closed, lol. I made a little list of what I still need to buy and what I still need to do today too, it's quit hectic with work being busy aswell, Upcoming Saturday I will get most things done. I will go to Nijverdal, that way I can visit my Mom and Dad aswell, before I take off to the US. It's what I wanted.

10 more posts to go, then I will have 1000 posts written. I will see what I do after the 1000th written post, I will go on, though, I won't write everyday I think. Just when I feel like it, for sure I will write once a week. It's sometimes  a hell of a job to write a post, now I'm overreacting, lol! Yeah, but sometimes... Just like today, there's not much to write. Our foreman has returned, and it was fun having him around again, missed him a bit aswell. He's a hard worker, I think no one can beat him with working, No one has too, lol!

Two more weeks and then starts our Summer holiday, actually earlier. Our Summer holiday starts on the 18th of July, that's on a Thursday. We all will stop and lay our work down around 4:00 pm, and then we gather around for a small barbecue, just like last year. Should be fun, wow, I'm already working there for more then a year, maybe even longer. But first we will have it very busy, there's still a quit a few orders to be done. Hopefully we will get it done before the 18th, it's actually that's a must.

Summer's here!

This weekend was warm, not extremely hot, but nice and warm. Lots of Sunshine, T-shirt and shorts weather, my kinda weather. And this kinda weather will continue for the following weeks, as the weather man for spelled. Crossing my fingers, cause I like this kinda weather. The weekend was alright, best thing was ofcource picking up the flight tickets, withing 14 days I will have my suitcase packed, and I will be ready to go. I'm more then ready, everything goes as I planned, lol. I'm prepared, the 14 days waiting is fine, it gives me the time to check things out, see if I have everything ready, and ofcource some gifts I still want to buy. Just some little items.

Working tomorrow, tomorrow our foreman will return on our section, lol. I think he will be mesmerized about our section, lol. It's been busy, and tools and other stuff has been flying around. We always clean up everyday, but still. I like it clean and organized aswell, but it wasn't to do these four weeks, we were busy, very busy. The upcoming last 2 weeks of work will be busy aswell, hopefully I won't have to work Friday a extra day, I want to rest, so I can go out upcoming Saturday, it's been to long. But alright, let's see what this coming week brings.

Finally some Summer weather, I really hope it lasts. After a good rest in the morning I took of for my duties, shorts and t-shirt on. First I was heading to a few stores I wanted to visit, I need a few items for my balcony, first I need a summer 'relaxing' chair. I think they call it a stretcher, not sure though. But anyway, I couldn't fine one. I saw several though but way to pricey. I'm only using the stretcher in the Summer season, and Dutch summer days are rare at the moment. Many ideas I have for my balcony, but never actually bought things. A few chairs, a few flower pots with flowers, perhaps a outside carpet. I will see if I still have money left after my USA trip, LOL! After the shops I went to pick up the travel tickets, that went pretty easy. Together with another lady we went trough the tickets...

The departure time is still the same. Long flight though, 9 and a half hours to Atlanta, I will be flying with KLM. And back with Delta airlines, the flight back is only 8 and a half hours. I had no further questions, only I asked where to check in at Schiphol. It's easy, and when I don't know something, I can always ask. What I do regret is the fact that I only booked for 7 days, I would love to stay for another week. I will be spending time in Atlanta/Georgia/Athens for only 5 days. Anyway, it will be a great time! I'm sure of that. Would love to start packing now already, ,lol. But I'll have to wait for another 2 weeks, damn, it feels like 2 months. I still need to buy a few things, all the important stuff is done, it was easy.

Tomorrow I will pick up my traveling tickets, I will pick them up after lunch. First I need a rest full and calm, relaxing morning, lol. Geesh, it sounds like I'm old, lol. I have a few things more to do tomorrow, so, I might aswell do all the things at once. So I don't have to go back and forth towards home, planning it wisely, lol. A few grocery and probably a few items I still need for my trip, I saw a nice swim short and a nice cap aswell, but do I need it in Georgia/Atlanta? The short and cap has a nice price, so, it won't harm. I will see tomorrow. We're going to have highly Summer this weekend, above 24 C. I would like to start with my balcony decorating aswell, I have many ideas for it, but I never started it. Let's see tomorrow.

I feel good after I worked a half day today, can't actually not imagine I worked today, though I did. We finished what we had to finish today, that was my goal. Sometimes I don't even notice how hard the time flies while working, until it's time for a coffee break, lol. I will try to keep upcoming Friday free, so I can go out upcoming Saturday, just being out in a city I never been, explore and enjoy the environment. It's been a while since I done that, plus, before I go to Atlanta I would like to visit my Mom and Dad's grave. Live sometimes flashed by so fast, that we sometimes don't even realize what has happened, when I think of my Dad, I think back to Frebruary 1.It's  a special day for me now...

I couldn't think of a title, so I just came up with that one. Again a hard, but nice working day, productive much and still busy. Next week our foreman comes back from his Holiday, he spended four week in Kansas USA, by his parents. The four weeks without our foreman was quit okay, I learned a few things and everything went quit well. We (our section) can take a deep bow to ourselves, lol. We managed alot, I think it never has been that busy as the last week. Our section could use a good tidy up though, before our foreman comes back, only if we had the time for it, lol.

Tomorrow for the third time I will work another extra half day in the morning, though I don't think I have the energy for these extra days permanent. It's exhausting, and I have to think of myself aswell sometimes. after a extra half day working I will be taking it easy for a few days, just to let my body and mind rest. Not really having plans for upcoming weekend, though the weather will be perfect for a day out or just to be outside, they forspelled highly summer with 25 C. I will see what the weekend brings. First picking up my travel tickets ofcource on Saturday!

After a lazy morning and a bit what feeling disorientated, lol, I got a call from the travel agency. (eek!) I dislike such calls, lol. Flight being cancelled? Trip being cancelled? Nope, nothing of that, they asked if I could come around to fill in personally my Esta requirement, this requirement  is needed when I'm traveling overseas. It was my day off, so it was easy to come around and fill in this requirement. I had a few other things to do aswell, so it was quit a struggle to start off, lol.

I washed my hair and cutted it, did a quick wash up too. Changed clothing, made lunch for tomorrow's work. Then off to buy a few needed groceries, left the needed groceries behind in my house and went straight to the pharmacy. I always get a mail when my 'new' portion of medication is ready, so I picked that up. Then off to the travel agency, they asked on forehand (trough the phone) if I could bring the address of my  staying in Atlanta/Georgia aswell.

Luckily I still had Jan's address on a safe place somewhere, I brought it with me. I informed Jan aswell,  The Esta requirement was filled in quit easy, the lady who helped me told me that she could do it trough the phone, but this was more personal, I agreed. After the filling in the lady told me that I could take the plane tickets with me right away, woot! They were ready!?? Wow, that was unexpected, on my calendar it said a week before my trip.

I told the lady if I could pick the tickets Saturday, cause I still had a few things to do and there was the free dinner. I didn't had a bag with me where I could put the tickets in safely. I was kinda unprepared as you can say, lol. That was okay, I can pick them up upcoming Saturday, if I still had any questions I can ask it when I pick up the tickets. That was my idea aswell! I don't have much questions though, I know alot already, but still.

A few things I know now already, I will be flying with KLM on my way to Atlanta, and on my return to Holland with Delta. Nice! With the Vesta requirement papers I don't have much to worry about customs, (like in Canada, lol!) Sure they mostly pick one person out of 25 people, to just check up on him or her, but still then, there's nothing to worry. Still 18 days to go, eeek, it's going pretty fast now. Do I need swimshorts?  I saw a nice one today!

Sixteen posts to go, then I wrote 1000 posts. Wow! I started writing in December 2011, now it's July 2013. I wrote everyday a post, just like I wanted. Okay, okay I forgot a few times a post, but I Always made it up the second day. I was thinking already to stop writing after my 1000th post, but, I won't. Though I will write less. Not everyday a post, just like when I feel like writing a post, I will. I will write about anything, anything what comes to my mind.

Work was good today, still busy, but without the chaotic from yesterday. We worked like how it suppose to be, lol. There was a line in our working, no one walked in each other way. Everyone had their  so called 'duty,' and all was good. We worked 'again' on several huge mats, these huge mats go to one particular store. This store needed 6 huge mats, one huge mat comes in 3 parts. This whole 'mat' project has to be done before upcoming Thursday. I say, 'We will manage.'

Tomorrow a day off, like usual. No appointments, and not much to do, perfect! Just a few groceries and that'll be it. And hey! I got a email back from the 'heater' company, they wanted to come again for a check up. They apologized for last week for the misunderstandings. I will receive a a letter with the date and the time when they will show up. I just don't know... I have my doubts about this 'heater company.' I never heared from them, the company's name I never heared off aswell.

In total I got two emails back from them, the first one was hidden in my spam box, and the second one not. That's why I have more doubts about this, probably it's nothing to worry about, though I will check with my house corporation, I will tell them what's been happening last week with the heater check up, Probably 'they' know they heater comapny, or maybe not. Just checking it out, just to be sure. It's all good.

Today at work we managed to finish all our orders, the orders we left behind from last week and the orders what really had to be done today. We had a few extra workers with us in our section, otherwise we wouldn't have manage. Still I'm missing something in our section, okay, it's chaotic and very busy, but there's actually no "line" in the work we do. Everyone keeps running kriss kross trough each other, doing this and doing that. I don't like it when I'm starting something and I have to leave that something to do something else, I rather finish what I started. And I like it when workers clean up there mess or even better 'tools.' Everyday I hear, "Where's the knife?" or " Where's the tape?'"  Well, if you would have put it away...

But then again, it's busy so I don't blame for the chaos or mess. We had to work hard to manage these orders, we even had to work on in our last break, lol. And I so needed that 2:45 pm coffee, lol! They have good coffee at work, it's from a can but it's good. I drink two cups a day at work, one at 9:30 am and one at 2:45 pm. It gives a bit of a boost. This coming week at work will be the same, busy! Though I hope without the chaotic, I will do my best, as I Always do. I didn't went to the free dinner tonight, I was exhausted, I'm sure it would have made me even worse exhausted. He he, taking care of myself. Early to bed tonight, oh yeah. After finishing this post I will hit the hay. Night!

Excited for tomorrow, am I nuts?

Maybe I'm the only one who loves a Monday on this planet, it would have been different when I wouldn't had a job. It seems everyday at work I feel challenged, determined, I like the work I do. The last few weeks has been extremely busy, and I don't even mind. Some fellow workers has been calling it 'chaos, chaos!' But I was like, 'bring it on. Lol, I look up at the sound when the iron cart shows up with material for the mats that must be made, and smile. Tomorrow we will have to finish several orders what we couldn't have finish last week, it all have to be done before 3:00 pm. Our working day always start at 7:30 am, I say, 'bring it on!

Ofcource I will be watching my energy and my health, I'm used to it, I know what I'm able of and I know how far I can go. I'm almost like a programed robot, lol.  Today, as you will probably all know I rested, Sunday = a rest day! Perhaps some ironing, and laundry, but that's it. I had two naps today, first one was a power nap, I slept more then a hour. I usually sleep for 10 or 15 minutes, not long I know, but it does it for me. The second one was a short nap, only 10 minutes. Not much to do this week when it comes to mail or house holdings, only this 'heater check up' thing, ugh, I sent the heating company a mail, I will be waiting for their answer.

I forgot to write a post yesterday, so here's a double. I realized I forgot it, though it was already late and I was tired and felt sleepy.

Friday!

Work went well, ofcource I was tired afterwards. I have been working hard the last few days at work, the extra half day was though but I managed it. Some of the fellow workers wanted me to stay until 4:30, lol. But no, I have to think of myself aswell, listening to my body, and it says 'Stop!' It's been enough, I cycled towards home and had a few minutes rest. I knew a visitor would show up soon, my lunch for this Friday was already made yesterday. The visitor was Ina, she wanted to have a 'chat up' with me, and that was alright. It was a nice visit, though I felt a nap coming aswell. After Ina's visit, I still had to wait until the 'heater man' would show up. He was gonna check my heater between 1p m and 5 pm. Ina left around 2:30 pm, but no heater man showed up.

I waited until 5 pm and started dinner, yup, 'he' didn't show up! I was done with this 'heater checking,' I called a few times this week already , and twice 'he' didn't show up. And now? Well,  This 'check up' what they do has to be done, just to see how much I used the heater and the boiler in 2013, they check it once in two years.  After the 'check up' they can make a 'nota' by the end of the year and I will have to pay. Without the 'check up' they will make a nota aswell, but they will have to evaluate what I have been used. Then the debt will probably higher, tomorrow I will send this company a mail, and I will call them on Monday. It's not my fault they didn't show up, I'm not gonna pay a penny more.

Saturday!

To go out or not, that was the question today. I still needed some items for my big trip, and I thought, it's now or never, lol. I went! After a good rest in the early morning, I took of around 11 am.with the train to Enschede. Enschede is my favourite city by far when it comes to cities near. it's only a little 20 minutes with the train. It's been a long while but I took my bicycle with me to the train station, Always afraid that my bicycle will be stolen, I always leave my cycle at home. I recently found a good spot to hide my bicycle, it's a spot behind a building near to the train station. Though when I got there I couldn't get behind the building, the gate was closed, sigh! I had to find another spot, luckily  I found one.

Once in Enschede I took my time and decided not to stay that long, I still felt tired, rest was needed soon . The time I spent in Enschede was good, I had a jolly, but busy time. I scored a few summer clothing's and some gifts for Jan and her Family, can you say 'wooden shoes,?  I didn't want to overload them with gifts, though coming with empty hands is not my thing, so, I bought a few simple though fun, cute items. Jan has a large Family, so I think I still need a few little gifts and then I'm done. Last but not least I did my last groceries and bought with succes US Dollars, oh my, that went fast. Not even five minutes and I had them in a nice envelope.

All settled and quit a full day, when I got home I tried to take a second nap but that didn't work, I guess I wasn't that tired then. I spend quit some money today, but it was all worth it and needed actually. I checked my bank account today and found out that the inheritance had arrived. Second thing to do was paying the notary, a small 430 bucks. Log in to my bank account was quit a struggle but I managed. I think it was Internet Explorer was being a pain, I had to log in quit a few times. When I went over to Firefox it was easier. The notary has been payed, over and done. I'm happy with the inheritance, and happy aswell that the notary has been payed. Win!!

Oh, my 980th post! 20 to go, then I will be on my 1000th post, blimey! I'm not sure if I will go on after my 1000th post, maybe I will or maybe I won't or maybe there will be a change in this blog. I will see. Thursday, working day! Oh yes, chaos and craziness at work, there's still no line in our work. Everyone works as hard as they can, walking and sometimes running from left to right. Mostly we have a certain line or order in our work, at our section. Step 1, step 2, step 3, and last but not least step 4.When step 4 is done, the mat is done, packed and ready to be send. Now it seems we are floating trough these steps, starting at step 1, then step 3 or maybe 4, but then we forgot step 2, then we go back to that step. Confused working, flying from left to right, up and down. But we will manage, hard work always pays out.

I thought I was a bit of a foreman, but everyone is a bit a foreman on our section, we all do it together. If person A doesn't know something, he will ask person B, if B doesn't know it either he will ask person C, etc, etc. Everyone in our section has their quality. I'm quit fast, and enthusiastic, sometimes too enthusiastic. I regret it mostly afterwards. I'm tired and I will take a good rest tonight, yup, early to bed. I will be working a extra half day tomorrow, just like last Friday. I was expecting it, so, all good. After work I will rest, and wait for the 'heater' man, lol. Out this weekend? Uhm, probably not, the weather ain't that good, and yeah, been working hard the last 3 days... relax and rest is on my schedule this weekend, though schedules can Always change.

It has frozen in the east of Holland this morning! Minus 8, crazy. I already asked myself why it was so called this morning in my living room, doubting aswell tp put the heater on or not. I turned it on for a little hour, it felt much better. Talking about my heater, I shall be short about it. The heater guy was suppose to show up today after 10:30 am, but he didn't. I called the heater company an they told me the wrote down the wrong adress by mistake, sigh. A new appointment has been made after some strugglings, Friday afternoon between 1 pm and 5 pm, yeah, wi'll see. I will probably working a extra half day Friday morning, so I will be home the rest of the Friday.

I had my rest today, though I feel sleepy, it's gonna be a early night for sure. I think around 9:30 I will hit the hay. A good sleep will do me good. I plan my days a bit, so I can have my rest and do the things I need to do. Such as groceries and house holdings. It ain't much, but still. I'm an expert in planning, lol, though there's mostly always coming something to mess up my planning. But that's okay, I can re-plan within a second of 5, lol. I would like to go out this Saturday, but the weather forecast is pretty bad, cold and rainy they said. Hopefully the forecast changes, as it mostly does.

Monday and Tuesday were tough at work, specially the Tuesday. Knowing I had a day of the next day, I gave a bit more today, I came home, rested, had dinner, then I took a nap. It was needed, dinner was good, a full belly makes me sleepy, lol. It's even busier then last week at work, it's easy to get disorientated then. I always (try) to do my best, but ofcource making mistakes is human, I surely learn from them. My 'sometimes' mistakes are becoming less, lol. I learned. Our foreman is still on vacation, we still have to do without him for another two weeks and a couple of days.

It's going okay without him, though our foreman was good with our orders, our work for the coming week. He knew what comes first and what comes last, he sure had a kind of a 'program' in his head, (or how you call it) at the beginning of the week. I miss that. Tomorrow I will rest mostly, there's first the breathing therapy in the morning, and afterwards a 'guy' comes to check my heaters. For the first time since three or four weeks I don't have a inheritance appointment, lol. That's done  and behind me, later this week I will check my bank to see if the inheritance has arrived. When it does, I will pay the notary right away. Just to get it all done.

Feeling a bit of a sore troath coming up, my Mom would say, "Don't think about, otherwise it gets worse." Lol, I know, probably a cold, I'm not surprised with this colder weather. I'm wearing a sweater, cause I couldn't get warm after work. Let's see how my troath is going to be in a couple day, no worries here. Today's work you can compare with last week, loads of work and it seems the orders or only become more and more. I'm not complaining, I like the work, it's better then no work, right?

Last Saturday I got a letter from the heating company, 'they' work together with the housing corporation where I rent the house from. This heating company will send a 'guy' who will check my heating, just a yearly routine check. Though... this company made a appointment without even asking when it's possible to come to check my heater. Tomorrow between 8am and 11pm a guy shows up to check the heating, well, I can't be home then, I'm at work.

n the letter stood that when I couldn't be at home on those hours. I should give my house key to Family or neighbors. Well, I have no Family living close by, and giving my house key to my neighbors, no, thank you, ,lol. I don't know my neighbors that well, they don't come that often, and I don't come there. If I see them, it's probably once in two or three weeks. So, today at work I called the heating company to make a new appointment, it wasn't that a peace of cake, but AI managed.

First I called and told them that I was able on upcoming Wednesday between 8am and 11am. Though, later I realized that I have therapy on those hours, lol. So I called 'them' back, now the 'heating guy' shows up between 10:30am and 11:30am, just after my therapy. Pfeeww, and it's already so hard to call at work, it's busy and you can't hear a thing, lol. I called from out the bathroom, but still.

28 days before my trip to Atlanta/Georgia USA, those 28 days feel like 28 weeks or even months. I know, I waited so long all these other months, but still. Get on with it I say, roll on with those 28 days. I had to get used to the idea of that I will be flying again in July, the last time I flown was on the 15th of January 2010, I came back from Canada then. That's more then 3 years ago, gosh, how time flies. I never been to the US, oh, hold on! Once me and Saf had a stop between Amsterdam and Toronto, the between stop was in Philadelphia, though we weren't long in Philadelphia, the plane to Toronto waited for us.

I'm more then ready for the flight, though I still need the flying tickets ofcource, I have to wait for them for a little two weeks, then I can pick them up. Then a week later I will take off, the plane that is. This Sunday was a rainy Sunday, and lots cooler. Today I ironed, vacuumed, cooked dinner and showered, oh, and one load of laundry, oh! And I cleaned the toilet, lol. Pretty much it seemed, but it went okay, I had my rest aswell. This coming week will be busy again at work, can you guess I'm looking forward to it? Hopefully I won't have to work a extra half day on Friday, I would love to go out aswell the day after Friday.

Should I go out or not? Was my though today for a few minutes, but naah, I needed the rest. It's been a rough week at work, upcoming week will be the same. Though I felt like going out after I did my groceries, I slept well last night and had a nice rest in the morning. After my groceries I felt good, I thought, "I probably, could have gone out this afternoon, to another city close by." Oh well, it was a good sign and it was good to know that I will be able to go out next weekend while I work a 'extra' half day on Friday. I still have a few things to and to buy before I go on a holiday overseas, I want to figure out if I can use my cellphone  in the US is one of them.

Further I would like to bring a few (Dutch) gifts with me, I want to take with me a few US Dollars, always handy. I need some more Summer clothing aswell, a few T-shirts and I'm thinking of a swim short, I saw a few nice ones already this afternoon. I think next upcoming weekend will be a good time to handle all these 'things to do' of.  will have to bring enough of my medication aswell, but that's a piece of cake, I'm excited, and getting a bit out of patience. Get on with it already, today it's the 22th of June, the 22th of July is the date of my flight. Within three weeks I can pick up my flight papers, I waited long enough, lol. Get on with it!

I survived this morning's shift at work, lol. Though I don't think I will do it again, I felt dizzy and a bit out of breath in the last few hours of the morning. Signs that I have to take it easy, and so I did. I felt okay further, I did what I had to do and with success. Another fellow worker complimented me and thanked me, it's a nice feeling. Next week we will be busy again, what a difference with a few weeks ago when we had to take it easy, cause otherwise we wouldn't have a thing to do. And probably again working a extra half day on Friday, hmm, well okay, but not in the morning. I need my rest aswell, I rather work a half day in the afternoon, so I can rest in the morning. It sounds a bit awkward maybe, but I worked extra half days before and Always in the afternoon, it just makes me feel better, so I can complete my shift.

I went home at 12:30 pm, did a few groceries, just the things I needed for today. Such as food for dinner and some treats for the evening. I recently discovered a cheaper way to prepair dinner, I buy stir fry veggies, they come in a bag. With that bag I can easily do two days, today's bag was filled with mushrooms, red onion, leek and parsley. I added potatoes and a meat called slavink. That's a meat dish consisting usually of ground meat, wrapped in bacon. Was yummy, tomorrow the same dish. I won't be doing that much this weekend, although I planned going ot, I won't go. The weather is terrible and I need my rest after such a full week. It's all okay. Probably going out for a coffee in jy own city, plus I need to do the second half of my groceries.

I was prepaired today that one of my fellow workers would come up to me and ask me if I could work tomorrow a half day, though I wasn't prepaired to work a half day starting in the morning. I worked extra hours before, always a half day on Friday's, always starting at noon. So, tomorrow I will work a half day starting in the morning, let's see how that goes. It's busy at work, the orders what had to be done this week are almost done, tomorrow it's cleaning the big mats, pack them and sent them. They wanted me in the morning cause when I would show up at noon, the orders wouldn't be finished on time, oblivious. 

The train tunnel this afternoon in Hengelo!  In the East of Holland (my area) was the worst with the rain and thunder.

While writing about this I get slightly excited again, determined. I didn't feel like that when I got back from work, I got soken wet from the rain when I cycled towards home. The weather forecast forspelled thunder and rain in the afternoon today, there was a 'weather warning' aswell.Huge rain showers could fell, and they fell. The rain started around 2:30 pm, and went on none stop until 5:30 pm. It's been a while since I got so wet from the rain, lol. I didn't put on my rain suite, I though, "I'm going straight towards home, once home I will put dry clothes on."Dry clothes, took a nap, made killer sandwiches and had a was up. 

Bad weather or not, we're Dutch people cycle.

You didn't went to the free dinner, as you always do on Thursday's after work? Naah, I didn't feel showing up there soken wet, plus I was tired and needed a good rest before I go to work again the next day. The free dinner on Thursday is a nice sorta 'closing the week' dinner. Nice people, socializing, good food, and then towards home with a full belly and a satisfied feeling.Plans for the weekend? If I didn't hat to work tomorrow I would have gone out upcoming Saturday, though I need my resting days aswell. Oh well, maybe I will go any way, I will see. I still need some 'items' for my trip to Atlanta.

Warm, warmer, warmest! 

It's warm in the house, two days of extreme heat makes my villa feels like a sauna.. Yes, I can sit outside, would be fun aswell to sit outside on my balcony. Though there no chairs yet or other decorations, I should get it done. I'm thinking of low seats, cause if I would get normal outside chairs everyone could see me outside. I don't like that, though I should just not care, I know lol. I think everyone likes a bit of privacy, yes, I have houses across me in the street where I live. Or perhaps a few mosquito screens, so I can open a few windows or doors. Vans is aswell an options. There's many options, I will have a look around upcoming weekend. 

I didn't watch or read the weather forecast this morning, the last weather report informed the we could break the record of getting the highest temperature ever. It was everywhere in the news, so, with that in the back of my head I went out this morning with a T-shirt and shorts. It was 9am and I was on my way to my therapy, awkward that the sky was grey and not sunny, hmm!  I wanted to call the 'therapy' this morning, asking them to chancel my appointment, cause of my other inheritance appointment. I called 'therapy' but a answering machine. I'm not good with answering machines, I left a message but I wasn't happy with it. 

So, I thought, let's just go there and do there the canceling. I bumped into my therapist by accident while there, perfect! I did my story and the canceling was no problem, even though it was short time canceling it. Next stop was the train station towards nijverdal, towards my inheritance appointment. On my way the sky was getting greyer and greyer, breaking the record of highest temperature? For that you need sun, right? I looked like it was about to thunder and rain, and so it did when I arrived in Nijverdal, wow! I totally didn't expect that.  
 My Uncle who came with me to the appointment told me aswell that the weather reports were telling about the rain and thunder. The rain and the grey sky didn't last that long though, later in the afternoon the sun came out again plus the tropical warm temperatures. The inheritance appointment went fine this morning, me and my Uncle went to my Dad's insurance agency and there they made a copy of the 'certificate of inheritance,'what has been made by the notary and and arrived on my address on Saturday. With all the other copies plus the certificate the insurance agency can work things out and finish it, within a few weeks I will get my inheritance. Finally.

It's to warm, I know, I really don't wanna complain but, really? 32 celcius! It's okay when the tempature slowly build ups, but we went from 22 C. last Sunday to 32 celcius to day. Tomorrow will be even warmer. Followed (ofcource) by thunder and rain, Friday we will hit the 19 celcius again. Today at work is was warm and hot aswell, though outside was warmer. The last days I have a bit more energy then I'm usually have, I love Summer, the warmth and sunshine gives me a bit more energy. Last night I didn't sleep so well, I think I slept for only four hours. I know, it's not enough, but I went trough this working day just like normal, easy! Tonight I will sleep better, though it's gonna be a warm night. 

We have so much work the last few weeks, it's almost insane. People come from the office to ask me if some orders are already done or they come with a so called 'speeding' order. I or someone else at our section have to decide if the speeding order can be done thaty quickly together with the other orders what has to be done aswell. Sometimes I have to dissapoint them, cause the amount of work is just to much. They asked me today aswell if I could work another half day on Friday's, it's only for two weeks they told me. It's fine with me. It's busy, much bussier then let's say two weeks ago, I'm glad I can help out. Tomorrow a resting day, I'm looking forward to it. First off in the morning the inheritance appointment.

Summer's here!

Summer's here! 

Yep, Summer has finally arrived, though it's the Dutch Summer. Meaning: It's all or nothing. It was nice and cool this morning, such a good and comfy feeling riding towards work. Last night was kinda warm aswell, yes, I still sleep with a blanket, lol. Though it's a thin on, I have in total three blankets, and a few sprays. Tomorrow will be warm aswell, and upcoming Wednesday we will hit a record according the our weather forecast, 38 degrees Celsius!! Woot, woot! Like I said, it's all or nothing in Holland when it comes to weather. After Wednesday we will get thunders and perhaps followed by rain. Cooler days afterwards. I love the warm weather tough, hot or warm, it's all fine with me. I guess we all waited for Summer, let is last for a long while.

Last Saturday I received finally what I need for the inheritance from my Dad, the letter from the notary. I handed in the information and the times the notary needed last Wednesday. With those items and information they could make a 'certificate of inheritance.' With that certificate I can go to Dad's insurance and handle thing further of. In all, I must say the notary didn't take that long, only the needed information took a bit long. This coming Wednesday I will once again go to my Dad's insurance with my Uncle, think it's the third time now. I will have to be there around 10:30 am, that means I will have to skip the breathing therapy. Let's see how I'm gonna solve that, probably a call and it'll be fine.

Fathers day!

Fathers day! 

Before my Father passed away, we as a Family didn't do that much with Father's day, or Mother's day. As a child I wouldn't find it fair either, lol, I mostly mentioned to my parents that they have double birthdays and I don't. There should have been a child day aswell, lol. Later when I grew up I realized that Father's day and Mother's day is about appreciation. Appreciate for what your Father or Mother do. Still as a Family we didn't celebrate those special parent days that much, birthday's were more special.

Today with Father's I stood still for a few hours thinking and remembering my Dad, life and time passes by so fast. We sometimes don't even realize what we have been trough, in the years, months and sometimes days. I was reading posts back on FB, posts from the time when my Dad passed away, it was like I was throwed back at that time while reading it, re feeling the thoughts, sadness, and the carings. It was quit a impact that week from 30 January until 7 February, when Dad got sick, and within three or four days passed away. 

And then the funeral... I stood trough it, firm, calm but sad aswell, with many thoughts, though aswell memories. You know, although my Dad passed away, for me he's not gone. Yeah, he's gone, I can't see him, visit him nor touch him, etc, etc. Though in my eyes he's above looking down on me, guiding me in some sort of way. No, I'm not nuts, for me it's reality in a way, it calms me aswell. The good things I achieved recently I can probably thank my Dad for, he's my guiding angel in some sort of way...

Together with my Mom. They make a good team together.I don't have to worry about a thing anymore, it's all good. And as a last thing, I want to make them proud aswell, I'm ready to make a blast, the best is yet to come!

It's been a while, so let's throw in some pictures. Weekends are the days I will be out or stay in, when I stay in I take my time doing my groceries. No rush, I might even split my groceries in two parts and do them in two days. Just like I did this weekend, yesterday I did the first part of the groceries, today the second part. I enjoy it when I have time on my own to do groceries, today I decided to cycle to another village to do groceries there. I went to Wierden, a village only a little 3 km from my city. Wierden is a village I lived when I was still a young kid, Wierden is aswell a village where my Mom grew up. Here are some pics...

Normally I take the shortest route to Wierden, but then I would arrive in 10 minutes. And that was not my plan, I went from Almelo to Aadorp, and from Aadorp to Wierden. 

Aadorp is a village on the northern side of Almelo, Aadorp is situated around the small canal Almelo-De Haandrik, which connects it to Vriezenveen on the northern side and to Almelo on the southern side. A train track leads right next to this canal and also heads from Almelo to Vriezenveen.

I was looking for this pond, but couldn't find it first, this pond is just between Aadorp and Wierden. I use to come here as a kid. 

There's ofcource lots been changed here, I'm older now, lol. But was fun seeing this pond back. 

My bicycle awaits me, time to head to Wierden, to do my last part of my groceries.

After my groceries I rided home, I took the shortest cut. within 10 minutes I got home. On my way I always pass this little field with a few horses. 

Finally I got her looking, this was the second horse, a quit bigger horse as you can see.

















The supermarket in Wierden was a bit of a struggle, a new store so finding the items I needed was a struggle. But I succeeded, though I won't come back here again. They didn't have as much as the store as I use to go, plus they were expensive with most items. I even forgot a few items, when I got home I had to go to another store near to buy those items. When I got home after that I still forgot wash powder, lol! I didn't went back, the wash can wait. It was time for a nap and time to relax.

Yup, I'm getting closer and closer to the trip to Atlanta/ Georgia. I'm calmer about it and excited. My thoughts are, "Get on with it, I wanna start!" LOL. Start with things I need for this trip, starting with preparing myself for the trip. Upcoming week I will get a start with the preparing, upcoming Wednesday it will be almost a month before my flight. So that's a perfect start for the preparing. Preparing? Yes, writing down what I need, and what I have to do, perhaps a few gifts I will buy, I will have to get a few American Dollars aswell, (always handy) and... etc, etc. I'm not worried, let's get this started! I have no expectations what so ever, I will let it all come over me and let it all surprise me. I'm sure it will be a great adventure that I will NEVER forget.

A few people I know told me already recently that it's a pity to go for 9 days only, I know it's short but it's not that short. I have been in Paris, Berlin and London aswell for 8 or 9 days. With that in the back of my head in January I decided to book the trip for 9 days. The person where I'm staying at (Jan) told me recently that she wished I stayed longer then 9 days, 'two weeks would be good,' she told me. Well, I booked already the trip. I tried to change the days but that wasn't possible. Oh well, it will be good. Once I'm on my way my vacation trip begins. Meaning: Once I close and lock my front door and when I'll be on my way to the train station my adventure begins, once I close my front door the enjoying begins.

Today is been a bit of a lazy day, I rested and did some groceries. I went for a short coffee visit aswell at Janine's house. It's been a while since I been there, so I figured, I go there today. She's never been at my place, but that's okay. I asked her many times, but..... ah, it's good to have a few people where I can go to for a visit, or where I can share my story or fun or whatever, lol. It's good to be out. This morning I waited aswell for a message, a message from a fellow worker. I asked him yesterday, that if they were to busy that they could message me. But the message didn't come. We had so much work this week, that it was almost not possible to get it all done.

It's been quit the week when it comes to work, our section didn't manage to finish this week orders. We could have, but we came material and tools to short. They had to be ordered, and yeah, ordering takes some time. We did our best, I was exhausted after each work day, but it was well worth it. It was fun to help out, the days flew by. Probably I will work tomorrow a half day, though still not sure.There's still lots of work to do. 

They didn't ask me to work tomorrow a half day, but when I got home I figured, 'oh well, I can manage one more half day. I asked one of the fellow workers on Facebook trough a message if he could need me tomorrow for a half day. He responded by saying that he will keep it in mind. So, maybe tomorrow in the morning I will get a message back. It's all good with me. Like I said, I like to help out and showing "that" is aswell a good thing.

No further plans for the weekend, it rained for the first time today after a few weeks. It cooled down, next week it will get warmer again. Sweating at work the whole day made me cold this evening, lol. I'm writing this post with a thin sweater on and long pants, last few days I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Talking about t-shirts, I still need a few. yeah, I have grown, lol. Some t-shirts I own don't fit me no more. Shame though, they were from Wal-Mart, good memories.

It was my second appointment for the inheritance this morning, and there will be a third appointment. Poor me and poor Uncle, lol. We weren't even 10 minutes at the notary, we knew we had to bring in some items so that they could copy it. But we didn't know that 'that' was it, we handed in the paper items, the secretary made the copies and told us that the notary will handle this further now that he has all the information complete. I will as soon as possible hear from them trough a letter, probably by the end of the week. I could have known this but I didn't think further. The whole train trip lastet longer then the notary visit. Another train trip, another 5 bucks, the good news is I'm done with the notary. (hopefully) When I receive the final letter from the notary, I can go to Dad's insurances agency with 'that' final letter and then... 

Hopefully, finally... the inheritance. I think by the end of the week I will have everything done. I never dealed with a inheritance, never witnessed it, so , I will just see. This morning was quit full. First of the breathing therapy, the therapist worked on my shoulders today, ouch, that was painfull. Now, my plan was actually to go back home after therapy and rest a bit, and then of to the train station. My therapy ended at 10:15, my train will leave at 11:30. So, in between I would have a 75 min break. It takes me 10 minutes to ride from therapy to my villa, and it takes me 20 minutes to walk to the train station. Hmm, that means I still can have a 45 min rest. Yeah, that's not much. I decided differently, it's my resting day and I surely didn't feel like walking for 20 min to the station and then aswell 20 min back towards home. 

Hey, it's my resting day, lol. I went for a coffee after the therapy at the Hema, (store) and then went to the train station. Note: I truly dislike to put my bicycle at the train station, there are several thief's there who steal bikes. I think this was my first time ever to take my bicycle to the station after a long, long time. Though I hided my bike well, not at the station but somewhere safe behind a store close to the station. After I got back from the appointment I had to remind myself quit often to not forget my bike, lol. I'm used to walk home after a train trip. Thankfully my bike was still there and locked. Do, I won't do it again. Next appointment? I will walk or I will cycle to the appointment.

Pretty well exhausted after work today, but I knew that tomorrow would be a resting day. So, today I gave just like yesterday a 100%, maybe just a bit more. I was surprised about the many orders we received this Tuesday, and what actually has to be finished later this week. Last week and the weeks therefore it was calm and quiet with the orders, and now when our foreman is on a holiday the orders come. I'm not complaining though, keeping work is good, good for the company and good for us workers. It's just a bit awkward, lol. All of us on our section did a good job, we worked well together. Though it's just a bit different now when our foreman is on a holiday. 

Everyone of us does something and  does it well. We finish it and go to the next thing, There's no actual line (or how you say it) in the work we did the last few days. without having that 'line' in it. Although that, we managed today alot, we finished the things we wanted to be done, well, kind of. We can be proud on ourselves, we don't actually feel there's a foreman, we all do it together. Tomorrow I will be off as you all know, a resting day as I call it. There's still alot to be done, but I'm sure we will manage. Like I said, we managed already alot today. Tomorrow early although my resting day. Breathing therapy first, then a little short rest and then of to finish the heritance, I'm getting there.

Today was my first day as a foreman, well, actually I was kind of a foreman together with another fellow worker. That fellow worker knows his job too, he's been working just a bit longer there then me. He's from Bosnia, he speaks and understands Dutch, though not so well. He's a nice and down to earth guy and a hard worker. Two foreman working well together, what he doesn't know, I know, and what I don't know, he knows. I'm glad he's around, I couldn't do it alone. Today was quit busy, with many orders and some orders what really had to be done today or tomorrow. 

Gosh, I was excited this morning, excited to go to work and do my job as a foreman. Showing my skills and work together as a team, today went well, we succeed the things what had to be done. Tomorrow another day, this will go on for four weeks, then our foreman will come back from his holiday. This working day went pretty fast aswell, it sure wasn't that easy, I can only have respect for my foreman. As a foreman you'll have to get the orders done in a certain kinda order, this order first, then that order and then that order, etc, etc. In the meantime you have to get your fellow workers to work.

Meaning, when they are done with the given work, you'll have to get other work for them. (Oh my English explaining, lol) Sometimes, (read: mostly) a secretary comes from the office with another order what really, really has to be done today or the next day, a rush order. You will have to decide then if  that rush order can be done today or the next day. Like I said, today went well, I'm not worried for the following four weeks. I love it, I feel like it's a challenge. 'Dare me,' lol! I learn from this aswell, it's good for me, oh and this day flew by like a rocket. Fun day, roll on Tuesday.

Heritance, finally this week.

Heritance, finally this week. 

I got my 'heritance' letter, it arrived yesterday. I red it and it's quit simple to read and to understand. The letter came from the notary. Last Wednesday I went to the insurance company from my Dad, I had a appointment there cause they settled the heritance from my Dad. Arrived there they told me that I really needed notary, to make it all officially. At the nearest notary agency they helped me out good, the notary would send me a letter that I'll have to read and probably will have to sign with my next visit to the notary. I'll have to bring a few things aswell, the certificate of heritance, a marriage certificate and a death certificate. 

Quit a few things but it's all taking care off, most of the needed things I can pick up at my Aunt and Uncle's place. Upcoming Wednesday, if all goes good, I will visit the notary once again. I don't have to make a appointment, just hop in, deliver the needed things and sign. The I'm done and the heritance is mine. I'm glad it's all over then, my Uncle will come with me. Long and full week ahead, love it though. Tomorrow's work will be slightly different too, our foreman is on a holiday for four weeks. I guess I will have to fill in his space, yay! 

Note to myself: I will do extra my best, actually looking forward to it. Today was a nice day aswell, rested and did a few house holdings. Dusted, one load of laundry and vacuumed. After dinner I went for a little walk, the weather was nice so I thought, why not? On my way back I bought a cornetto an sat in the sun for a little 10 minutes. It's the little things that does it, right? Life is good, and I'm getting pretty excited about the major trip to the US! 43 days to go! Woot! Roll on June!

I didn't expect the cooler weather this Saturday, so, there I went in my shorts and t-shirt, lol. Woohoo, cold wind I thought, and it didn't get any warmer. I was on my way to the bank, last week I was about to pay the last part of my debt of the 'housing benefit.' But the cheque returned cause I made a writing mistake, lol, sigh! The bank helped me out friendly, thank God they were open this Saturday for a while. Problem solved. This day you could compare a bit with yesterday, I rested in the morning, and went out to do things in the afternoon.

After the bank visit I went to the forest, just like yesterday. Though In didn't stay long, it was just to windy and cooler. I continued my plan for this afternoon and went to the second hand store, I didn't went there for a long time. It's a huge place and always fun to look around. Two months ago I brought alot of stuff there, just some of Dad's belongings. It was quit alot, but funny enough I didn't see much of Dad's items back. Only the doll I recognized, sigh. It was awkward to see the doll back.

I scored two decent jeans at the second hand store, they were 5 Euro each, woot! I needed a few pants for work, that's been solved now too. After the second hand store I did my groceries and returned home. A nap was needed. The warmth from the last two days can be exhausting, I guess I need to get use to the warmth, though I'm not complaining. I'm loving the Summer, everyone seems nicer and happier. Tomorrow will be cooler aswell, that's okay, it's Sunday rest day anyway.

It's quit warm this evening in the house, and it's only been warm for two days. I really gotta air some more, open a few windows or doors in the evening. Though mosquito's and other insects might come flying or crawling in, or even mice or rats. I have seen a rat here once, not in my house though (thank god) but in the shed downstairs, it was huge. So, if I open a window or door, it won't be that long or wide open, lol. About mosquito's, I have been bitten today once, I rided my bike trough town towards the forest this afternoon. The weather was so nice, I really had to get out and sniff some sunshine. We have two forests here, Nijrees and Graven Allee, the last one is my favorite, in that forest I have been bitten, lol. I sat on a bench resting and there the mosquito came, ouch! Mosquito's in June? I thought they only come in late Summer.

Yeah, it was quit a productive day this Friday, unexpected really. Blame the warm weather, I mostly get a energy boost then. This morning I went to check my balcony, just checking if I can do something with it. Perhaps a few plants or outside chairs. First thing I saw was that my balcony could really us a cleaning. The windows were dirty and the floor could use some sweeping, I started right away. I couldn't turn around and leave it like that. I sweeped the floor and washed the windows plus railing, the water afterwards was black. Thank god I cleaned it, I took a nap afterwards. When I woke up and got up I saw a few guys trough my front window walking with a ladder, I could see they were from a cleaning company, cleaning windows. There were about to leave. I saw their van and I wrote down quicly the phone number. Then I rushed downstairs to ask them something. 

I was on time and I asked if they could do my front window aswell, I pointed to the window with the bird poo on it, lol. That window really could use a clean up. though it's such a struggle and hard work to clean it. I don't own a ladder, and without a ladder it's almost not to do. The guy told me to ask their boss, I asked and it was fine, though it costed me 6 Euro. While one of the guys cleaned my window I rushed to the nearest bank machine, cause I didn't had the 6 bucks on me. When I got back the guy was nearly done, I payed the boss  and told them I was happy with the cleaning. These cleaners were Turkish, so, they didn't talk or understood that much Dutch. But oh well, I was happy 'that' that window was clean. Yup, a nice day, thanks to the gorgeous weather, tomorrow another Sjon-shiny day!

Finally Summer?

Finally Summer? 

The temperatures went way up the last few days, I love it, it gives me a boost of energy. Had a lovely day at work aswell, there weren't that many workers today, A few had a day off, I can't blame them with this great weather. The temperature went up until 26 C. degrees. Just a few clouds, but mostly sunshine. I really love it, I hope it lasts. Today was aswell the last working day for our foreman, he's going on vacation for four weeks. 

Now, who will lead our section now? They told it was me, but I don't fall for that, lol. I think we can manage our selves pretty well without our foreman. When I have a question or I can't keep up with something, I can always ask for help. There are several options. I'm sure some workers in our section will come to me aswell when they have questions. Together we will manage these four weeks, I'm actually looking forward to it.

Plans for the weekend? Nope, I will let these days just come over me, I won't go out I guess, at least not far away. The weather is good, so that's a plus point. I could go out for a long bike ride, that's a idea. I will check tomorrow aswell for my received heritance letter, it will probably be there. For now, I think it will be a warm sweaty night, I showered, cleaned my sheets, it's all good.
