"Mom! I'm bored!"
Celebrathing Pentecost in Holland is almost the same as Easter. There are markets and second hand markets and aswell music festivals, there's lots to do whole across this country. But it's different in every city or village, one city can have a huge market while the other village has just nothing to do. And ofcource we should not forget what's Pentecost is all about, that's why we go first to the church, usually in the morning. Alot of Dutch people have there own traditions with these days, there are these brunches, or the nice dinner's, or visit the festivals and markets. We celebrate Pentecost in two days, the first day most people go to the church and then have a brunch or in the late afternoon a nice dinner. The second day Dutch people go out. We Dutch people call Pentecost 'Pinksteren,' it's the 50st day after Easter.
'The biblical narrative of Pentecost is given in the second chapter of the Book of Acts.'
I sometimes wonder if the Pentecost will be celebrate everywhere in the world, I guess not. Some countries might, and there are aswell some countries who dont have two celebrathing days like we do. Anyway, it'ss a bit after nine in the evening, and I still hadn't had a nice cuppa coffee, I mean a NICE cuppa coffee. I will make one now, after that it's back to the laptop and enjoy a bit of surfing over the net. The latests news, funny video's, Facebook ofcource, and ofcource cityville and frontierville. There is so much to watch, hopefully some of my followers or the ones who I follow wrote a new post in there blog. Don't feel pushed by me bloggers, it's all upto you. It's always a excitment when I see a new post.
